PARADIGM "S" CLASS WELDING SYSTEM Patented & Patents Pending

CPI is currently developing the most advanced automatic orbital tube welding system found on the market today.  The system incorporates three entities:  the "S"-Class Power Supply; the "S" Class Cassette Style Weld Heads; and the "S" class fixture blocks.

"S" CLASS POWER SUPPLY

The "S" Class power supply is a low weight highly efficient user friendly 100 AMP automatic orbital tube welding power supply.  The "S" Class power supply has no inlet or exhaust fan to keep it cool.  By having no inlet or exhaust fan, the "S" Class power supply can be taken in and out of a clean room environment without  risk of contamination coming from the inside of the power supply.  Programming is accomplished via a windows based, color touch screen display.  Standard peripherals include; mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor, and network connection.

FEATURES

  • Displays all weld data in real time

  • Records all weld data, weld schedules, & weld setups onto the hard drive

  • Can be linked into computer networks or linked to additional power supplies for easy data sharing

  • modular construction for ease of maintainability

PARADIGM "S" CLASS CASSETTE STYLE WELD HEADS & FIXTURING

The "S" Class weld head and fixturing have been designed to improve weld quality as well as productivity. The "S" Class system incorporates many features found on our current cassette style systems. New features include our Stay Cool™ rotor, superior gas coverage, and Automation. The "S" Class weld head & fixturing permits tube stub lengths down to just 0.063 of an inch.

FEATURES

  • Independent Fixturing permits 360° inspection of the weld joint prior to welding
  • Fixture blocks keep the parts being welded properly aligned throughout the weld cycle resulting in repeatable, superior welds that require no time consuming straightening after completing the weld cycle
  • Fixture blocks come in standard and custom configurations
  • Weld head self aligns into the fixture block
  • Unique rotor design keeps rotor concentric and smooth turning even after thousands of welds, greatly reducing the stress on the gear train and increasing weld head life.
  • Optical speed control accurate to ±0.25%
