| At CPI we design, fabricate, and sell custom automatic orbital tube welding systems. By using custom equipment the manufacturing process can be simplified without compromising design integrity or quality. The manifold seen below is for the International Space Station. The manifold consists of two 8 port valves, five quick connect fittings, and an assortment of elbows, tees & bent tubing. The manifold requires forty-five automatic orbital tube welds to be assembled. By designing and manufacturing our own custom fixturing, CPI is able to assemble manifolds like this with a high level of accuracy and repeatability. | |
